MS in Instructional Design and Development
This graduate degree is designed for instructors and trainers at all levels. MIDD emphasizes the integration of educational technologies and active learning principles, as well as the systematic development and design of quality curriculum. This program consists of 36 credits, and is offered online. The courses in this cohort program are designed to be taken in order as listed. Their prerequisite is acceptance to the Master's level Organizational Performance program.
Program Design
Active learning is part of the curriculum, and the principles of active learning are integral to the design and implementation of the program itself. Participants should expect a highly interactive environment with frequent feedback. The program emphasizes the application of learning to actual classroom and training practice. Traditional lectures are not part of the program.
