MS in Management

The Master of Science in Management (MSM) is a program for practitioners who want to develop people management skills via hands-on, diagnostics-rich learning activities that are focused on real workplace issues which can be mastered with practice. It is mentor rich, supported by reflection tools such as journaling and storytelling and promotes the awareness of self and others as leaders, managers and innovators. The MSM is an 21-credit core program with four 15 credit hour concentrations.

  • Human Resource Management
  • Entrepreneurship

Program Objectives: Students who complete the Master of Science in Management program will be able to:

  1. Synthesize significant personal learning through individual and group activities.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to manage projects required by business practitioners.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in managing people to be organizational assets.
  4. Administer and interpret diagnostic instruments.
  5. Demonstrate facilitation skills.
  6. Align organizational resources (human, financial, and operational) to effectively engage in a global economy.
  7. Demonstrate active research skills.
  8. Provide leadership in an organization.
  9. Demonstrate the ability to frame and promote personal and organizational learning.
  10. Demonstrate professionalism throughout the program.
