In today’s world, virtually every building we visit and every man-made environment we explore is the product of Computer-Aided Design (CAD). The people who utilize Computer-Aided Design tools are professionals in a field that work on everything from the design of residences and commercial office space, to sports stadiums and public parks. Students who would like to combine their interests in architecture, engineering, or drafting with a rewarding high-tech career should explore options in Computer-Aided Design.
The Computer-Aided Design (Architectural Drafting) Program equips students with the skills necessary to become a candidate for many careers available to the skilled CAD operator. Architectural Drafting students receive training on recent releases of AutoCAD, a popular CAD application that provides experience in developing technical drawings related to the field of architecture.
