I always see commercials, and magazine ads to get your degree online. Then, I heard about online diploma mills. So, how can you tell the online college/degree is real, and not one of those scams?

I have seen those online degree commercials, before. The one that really annoys me, is the commercial with the singing waitress. I would not know how to tell if the degree was a scam, so I would also love to hear from somebody who knows the difference.

I myself, would not trust an online college that did not also have a campus that you could visit. Phoenix has campuses all over so I think it is relatively safe. I would definitely do some research before picking one though.

I think that taking online degree programs is definitely something you need to do a lot of research into before deciding on one. Talk to graduates, administration and look for reviews online.

I totally agree. In my area there has been a large amount of private colleges that are just passing students through without giving them a competitive education. I would say trust your gut feeling.

Online reviews would be the best way to go. It is also advisable to try to find out as much as you can from other sources.

Recently, I decided to study a management course but that was after I had done my research pretty well.
