This is a small private university with campuses all over Michigan specializing in Business Administration and Nursing. Most of the schools professors have been active in their teaching field.(I.E. the head of nursing has been in the nursing field and worked in the career she is helping you reach for, the law professor is a lawyer, etc) They have a wide range of degrees including certificate programs for computer programming, CNA, LPN, and RN degrees, Business management Associate's, Bachelor's and Masters programs.

I loved my experience with this university and I am sure anyone else would too.

Sounds like a great college. I love it when the professors have worked in the field that they are teaching. More hands on- I went to college for criminal justice- my profs were all old-police officers and detectives. They brought so much more to the classroom.

Isn't it a requirement to become a professor --you have to have worked in the field you are teaching?

I don't believe so. I think you just have to have a Masters degree. I could be wrong though.

It was very hands on though and I loved it. We had to file (fake obviously) motions and pleadings. I even had to write up a divorce proceeding from beginning to end. It was great fun.

What in particular made your experience so overwhelmingly positive?
