A friend of mine was complaining that he earned his MBA and now it seems useless. So many people have gotten one that it's become devalued. Do you agree?

It's never useless - he may not be making the most out of it. Some people think that just because they go to college, jobs are going to be falling into their laps. It is just as competitive with a degree, only once you land that job, you will be making a lot more money than someone without one.

If he expects to land a managerial job after finishing his MBA it would really be useless without the experience to go with it. He should aim to develop his skill through experience first.

It's not useless; it's just not as big of an advantage as it used to be. Still, if he wants to move up the corporate ladder, it's often a requirement.

For some reason, jobs require it, although you can learn as much, if not more, from hands-on experience. Still, the more education on your resume, the better.

Education is never really useless. It still looks good on the resume. But as mentioned the job market is still competitive. Maybe he just expected too much of a difference in the ease of finding work and that's why he is perceiving it as being useless.
