Have you taken any keyboarding classes? I took them in elementary and high school and I type very fast already. I have considered taking them for some easy and quick credits and to raise my GPA.

I type so fast that I don't them. Typing classes in high school definitely helped, but most of the speed I've gained is from practice over the years. I'm glad I took a class and never relied on the hunt and peck method.

Unless you would enjoy the keyboarding classes for easy credits, why don't you take something fun like bowling or skiing or underwater basket weaving (just kidding about the basket weaving). Do something fun and refreshing.

I have never been to any keyboarding classes. All I used was a typing tutor and I can type really fast as we speak. It wouldn't break a bone to be in such a class anyway.

I took them in high school but I type relatively fast so I would not consider spending money on them in college. I would suggest taking a class that would interest you for easy credits as well. My college offered step aerobics, Frisbee golf, and roller hockey classes.

I have a physical issue that prevents me from doing a lot of the physical activities, as much as I agree those would be easy credits as well. I might still consider keyboarding though. Maybe I'll try 10-key, as that's a weaker area for me.

I would consider it. Even though I think I type very well, there's always room for improvement. Considering how much I'm at the keyboard, it makes sense to be as efficient as I can be. But I agree with Rayne. I'd rather take bowling or something fun like that!
