Diagnostic medical Sonographer is responsible of operating ultrasound equipments, which utilizes high frequency sound waves to create visual images of inside body. In order to meet the requirements for aspiring field one can choose to pursue either a two-year associate degree or a four-year bachelor's degree program, or by completing a program offered by a hospital or the Armed Forces. Although one year training program is usually required in order to maintain health care of clients in the profession few other requirements of the field are as mentioned:

Although admission requirements for Sonographer training vary, typically you need a high school diploma or GED with some classes in biology, chemistry and other sciences. Good interpersonal skills, typical training in the field including classes in physics, anatomy, physiology and patient care is general prerequisite of Sonography career. The median salary of diagnostic medical Sonographers in May 2009 was $63,010 a year, with the middle 50 percent of Sonographers earning between $53,110 and $74,400 a year.
