Is there any good way to study for the SAT, ACT, GRE and Praxis? I know there are several study guides out there, but don't know which is the best. I am especially interested in the Praxis.

For me, any way works depending on an individual. Try out what you think is best for you and see how it goes or find out more from a person that has sat for these before.

Talk to your education professors and see what they recommend. A lot of students use study guides for the Praxis, so I'm sure they'll have some idea of what people have used and what's worked. Also, public libraries usually have a lot of the practice guides, so don't spend money when you don't need to. Good luck!

I was in college prep and AP courses in high school so my teachers were very helpful in preparing us for the SAT. I also got a couple study guides that I ordered cheap online. You can also find lists of words online that you can make flashcards from.

I would ask your guidance counselor what they recommend. I took a lot of college prep and AP classes as well so it wasn't something I really "studied" for. Look around your community and see if they have an organized class for SAT/ACT prep.

If you are planning to go to college next fall, make sure to get your ACT or SAT taken care of soon! If I remember correctly the SAT takes a break after December. I did a ton of flashcards for the verbal section. For math, just make sure you know your formulas. Writing isn't too hard, just make sure to have a couple quotes from books memorized, or at least to reference.

If you are taking SAT II then I recommend getting the books to help out. They are a lot more specific.
