Obviously, if you want to get into a really prestigious law school, you will want to choose a very competitive school with a great academic reputation for undergrad. But what if you are not aiming for the top law schools?

I think what matters most is your grades, how well you do on the LSATs and extra-curricular activities or organizations that you are involved in. Getting great references and perhaps some real world experience can also greatly enhance your application.
