Do some of the online universities restrict enrollment according to where the students live? I thought that some universities might want students to have access to the campus.

I have come across a few universities that had such regulations. In a way, it is a good thing to want the students to reside within the university as there are some things that are best tackled on site.

None that I have seen that are only online. Some programs are hybrid programs and do require you have access to the college campus though.

None that I have heard of as well. I thought online classes were created so as to accommodate people who are not able to make it to class.

I think some of them might require you to live near a campus but those are probably limited to local colleges that have online courses and universities like Phoenix.

I just found out that all students at Notre Dame, even upper classmen, must live on campus for the entire duration of their education there. Have you experienced this anywhere else? Would you want to live on campus all 4 years?
