The Internet era has seen marketing of a new kind. I know this first hand as I was part of a project, which paid about $5 for an easy task of putting links into blogs. Although skeptical initially I was richer by a few hundred dollars after actually having completed the work. And that’s when I realized the power of online marketing which is rather subtle in comparison to the traditional in- your-face marketing.

It works better than the quite irritating pop ups and marketing mailers which usually end in the Spam mail. That’s the reason why most companies are now looking to expand their business through this channel, as it is a much faster and cheaper option.
In my case, the company that was behind providing the links, was being paid by the advertisers, who in turn were getting their payments from their end customers who were in turn referred to them through the many blogs dotting the virtual world.. The bog links are easy accessible and easy to click and navigate through and it’s easier to set up and open an online store, get it running and start making sales.
